A promise is a declaration that you’ll definitely do something.
You’re not going to try.
You won't give it your best shot.
You’re 100 percent going to do it no matter what happens.
That's the nature of a promise.
We live in a competitive world where in a bid to win over customers companies make exaggerated promises, many of which rarely come to fruition.
When Trent Kimball, the CEO of Texas Armoring Corporation, says “Life is valuable—protect it.” he means it and each of his employees takes it to heart.
If things don’t pan out, he can’t just apologize and make up for everything.
Overpromising and underdelivering in his line of business is a sure-fire way to lose his customers.
Literally.
"When it comes to assuring our clients' safety, we take product testing extremely seriously."- Trent Kimball
Trent is a tough SOB with big balls.
He stands behind his product and is willing to take a bullet for it.
And there’s a lesson in there.
Until the next post, remember to wash your hands.
Maintain a good distance from other people.
Don’t go to crowded restaurants or bars.
Wear a mask.
And FFS, trust scientists.
